Your body stores your unfelt emotion

Every emotion you’ve ever had or will have has a sensation associated with it in the body. The sensation is there for you to feel, which moves it through when you do feel it. Unfelt emotions, often created by family of origin dynamics, stay in the body as a biochemical potential waiting for the day you finally feel them. Using Basic Somatic Skills you will learn how to feel them, and consequently feel more alive.

Humanity has fallen in love with it’s thinking brain, and with good reason. It gives us so many more options for doing things in the world. But we have reduced our attention on our animal nature which is where we and all mammals learned to relate to each other from. And is only through our animal nature that we feel anything.

Emotions are a powerful motivator and most of us don’t navigate them well when things become difficult in relating. Body Sense wants to remind humanity how to use it’s forgotten resource, the body, in apprehending those high energy moments in satisfying ways.
